    About myself:
    Currently I am a member of the Centre for Image Technology and Robotics at the University of Auckland . I am a PostDoc with a grant from the German Research Foundation, DFG (RO 2497/1-1, RO 2497/1-2), to work on Pose Estimation of free-form surface models coupled with kinematic chains.
    My research topics include
    • 2D-3D pose estimation
    • Visual landmark based robot navigation
    • Applications of Clifford or geometric algebras in computer vision
    • Human motion tracking

    I have written my thesis (Dr.-Ing.) at the cognitive systems group in Kiel.
    Note: From November 2005 I will continue as leader of an independent research group at the Max Planck Center in Saarbruecken !
